Terms of Use
Short version: this is a preview page for a product that doesn't exist yet. Joining the waitlist doesn't cost anything and doesn't guarantee anything — not a launch date, not access, not a free plan. We'll email you when there's something to see.
1. What this covers
These terms apply to this website and its waitlist form. By using the site or submitting your email address, you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the site.
They do not cover the Paldo & Jonah application, which is not yet available. When it launches it will have its own terms, and you'll be asked to accept those separately before using it.
2. This is a preview, not a product
Everything shown here — the app screen, the cards, the features implied by them — illustrates what we intend to build. It is not a commitment. Any part of it may change, be delayed, or be dropped entirely, and the product may never be released at all.
3. What the waitlist is
Joining the waitlist means one thing: we'll email you when we have news. It does not:
- create an account or reserve a username;
- guarantee you access, or access in any particular order;
- guarantee a launch date;
- guarantee any price, discount, or free plan;
- form a contract between us.
We may close the waitlist, invite people in whatever order we choose, or remove entries that look automated or abusive.
4. Using the site fairly
Please don't:
- submit an email address that isn't yours;
- submit automated or bulk entries, or attempt to flood the form;
- attempt to break, probe, or interfere with the site or the service that receives the form;
- copy the site's design, characters, or content and present it as your own.
5. Who owns what
The Paldo & Jonah name, the characters Paldo and Jonah, their artwork, the logo, the copy, and the design of this site belong to acware.org and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may link to the site freely. You may not reproduce the characters or branding for your own use without written permission.
6. Links to other sites
This site links to third parties, and its form is handled by one. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their practices.
7. No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, and we don't warrant that anything described on it will be built.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or from joining the waitlist. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the product develops. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site will be brought before the courts of the Philippines, to the exclusion of any other venue.
